Lara studied drawing and life drawing under Steve Arnison and Eulia Neal at Pratt MWP, NY, and Ardis DeFreece at Pacific Northwest College of Art, OR. Learning the basics provided a foundation of skills that Lara has applied to her skills in animation including anatomy, drama, exaggeration, and action of the body.
